Building a sustainable platform for action
The world’s forests provide the products that make daily life possible: clean air, biodiversity, and a tool to fight climate change. Yet every year, 15,000 square miles of forest are destroyed. FSC is dedicated to protecting healthy, resilient forests for all by bringing together citizens, businesses, governments, and NGOs. However, its website was complex, technical, and bureaucratic and did not connect with the audience.
To protect more forests, the website needed to be as compelling as FSC’s mission to turn FSC.org into a platform for action. The journalistic approach, combined with a simple yet beautiful design system, creates an experience that brings the forest to life by making an emotional connection with the audience. Natural imagery and evocative stories combined with sustainable design practices bring the forest to life in an awe-inspiring immersive experience.
